Come join an expected crowd of 150 as we take over one of our favorite wine bars - Cellar 58 in the East Village. The owner has put together a selection of Italian wines, at discount pricing, for the evening, along with complimentary Italian appetizers (while they last).

A team of volunteers will help with introductions through the evening - expect a very friendly and social crowd. Mix and mingle indoors, out front with sidewalk seating, or out back on the patio. Please, dress to impress.

About Cellar 58

OpenTable: "Cozy and inviting, Cellar 58 Wine Bar / Enoteca, offers a painstakingly curated yet fairly priced selection of over 120 wines from all over the world—including under-the-radar regions often unseen on wine lists—as well as delicious twists on classic Italian tapas."

Citysearch: "With brick walls, dim lighting and narrow, marble-topped tables, Cellar encourages coziness in the classic wine bar way. As its name suggests, the vino selection is vast (there are 120 varietals), so skip the mimosas and Bellinis and order a glass from Italy or even somewhere exotic like Croatia."

Shecky's: "As the old saying goes, “a dinner without wine is like a day without sunshine.” If this is your credo—and why wouldn’t it be—you’ll find both in copious amounts at Cellar 58. One glance at the tasting room in the back, where walls are lined with over 120 different wines displayed in temperature-controlled coolers, will have your inner wine snob ready to pop the cork. Huge windows ably fill the sunshine quota for you lunchers, while dark walls, marble tasting tables and Renaissance-style murals offer a romantic classic-Italian atmosphere at night. With small, rich plates and warm hospitality, you’ll feel like you’re visiting the old country, and not in that cheesy, Olive Garden-commercial way."
